Honouring Jar – “Light for the Unseen”

This is far more than just a jar.
This is a soft altar in miniature form.

A quiet beacon of remembrance, a vessel of honouring.
A dappling of sunlight gently upon the stories the world too often overlooks.

Crafted in reverence for three beautiful baby Jay birds, whose lives were short but bright. Led by the woodland spirits, I found them after their nest had fallen in a storm. Exposed in a place of too much noise, I gently carried them to a quiet glade to rest. Wrapping them in blessings of love, where they would be held by the Earth and sunlight in peace. When I returned, they were gone, taken by nature’s gentle reclaiming. All that remained were a few enigmatic sky-bright wing feathers. I asked permission to carry them home and was met with a soft yes.

This Honouring Jar is woven with the energy of that experience.

Nestled inside you will find:

• A baby Jay feather: a flash of sky-song, a soul now in flight

• Dandelion seed: a wish of life whispered into the world

• Himalayan pink salt: for sacred preservation, blessing and gentle love

• Dried moss: mindfully harvested from my garden, a cushion of earth’s tenderness

• Three crystals:

  • Tiger’s Eye for courage and protective strength

  • Amethyst for spiritual travel and tranquillity

  • Green Aventurine for heart-led joy and abundance

This jar is not a curiosity. It is a call to remember.
A way to honour the unseen. To say: “You mattered. You still do.”
